Participation:
Participation in the Choir will be considered on the basis of a personal audition with the Director by appointment, by calling 518-791-0185 or emailing satbchoir@yahoo.com. Applicants must possess a good voice and have had some recent experience in singing choral or solo literature. Current openings and balance considerations will determine participation in the Choir. Generally, there are 6 singers per section, although some sections may be added to or reduced on a per-concert basis.
Membership:
Members are not charged dues for participation, but must purchase their own scores. The Choir often hires professional singers based on need. If you feel qualified for this, please contact us. Occasionally, the choir is given a travel stipend for concerts out of town.
Rehearsals:
Rehearsals for our next concert began on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 7:00pm at Trinity Church, 88 Walker Street in Lenox. The Choir meets every Wednesday.
